School Party...
It was 5:30 PM yesterday and I was in my zebra bathrobe contemplating when I should get out of bed. It was clearly a lazy day because I should have been making dinner at that time but I was so tired I couldn't get up. That's when Tristin reminded me there was a party at his school that started at 5:00. I got up, threw my clothes on and we walked to the school. We ate hotdogs, icecream, & popcorn. The kids jumped in the bouncy house, listened to live music, got free books & jumpropes and played on the toys. It was a perfect night.

A little addiction...
I love fabric- A LOT. Actually, a huge amount. Ok, I lied, kind of like a ginormous amount. And I can justify every purchase. (I sell a lot of them too- so it isn't all for me, I promise!)The truth is when I only get 1/4 of a yard, it isn't too bad. Here's 2 more blankets I made the little man & 4 more burp rags. I can't wait for the spit up, pee, poop, tears, breastmilk and snot these things will soak up pretty soon! At least they are cute right???
9 more weeks...
This time in July I will have a little bundle of joy to hold and I can't wait. Just 2 more months. 9 more weeks. 9 more weeks. 9 more weeks.
Yesterday's appointment went well and just like the other's. He sounds great, I'm huge, but he will be here before we know it. The weeks really are flying by, even though some days, I swear take forever to pass. I am tired, things are aching, my back is broken- but I am thankful for this time in my life too. There's nothing like weird old men at yard sales asking you if you know how to prevent it from happening... I swear, one of these days I'm going to get smart and say something back just to throw them off gaurd- like: "No I'm not pregnant, I just have a giant tumor, but thanks for asking when I'm due."
Praying for Ellen...
Trav's only sister, Ellen, is one of the most amazing women I know. She is gentle, she is kind, she is forgiving, she is unbelievably positive, she is selfless, she is calm, she is understanding and she is in need of a lot of prayers right now. She is pregnant with baby # 6 and is in the hospital. Her placenta is detaching, her uterus has a tear in it, she's struggling with bleedeing and blood clots and she's only 24 weeks right now. She is on complete bedrest where she will stay as long as her body can hold this baby. It could be 4 more months of laying in a hospital room, but she doesn't have the best of luck carrying her babies anywhere near full term. (her last was born at 32 weeks which she delivered breech. Seriously, she is amazing.) For the first few days all we could do was pray, and then last night I finally got to talk to her on the phone. She sounded so positive and cheery as always, but my heart is aching so much for her. She told me that if she wouldn't have got in when she did- the Dr. said she could have bled to death. It is such a scary & awful thought. She feels at peace with what ever the outcome is- but she needs your prayers right now. I feel so helpless because they just moved to Florida and there is nothing I can do to help her. Please keep her in your prayers and hope this little girl and her Mama can make it a little bit longer.
It's also put things in perspective for me. I dislike being pregnant with all my heart, but I am beyond thankful my body is capable of enduring it, and getting my babies here safely. I can't imagine what Ellen is going through- I love her so much. There's nothing like family craziness to make you thankful for heartburn, hardly any sleep and a huge ginormous belly to carry around. I love you sweet Ellen.

Willow at the park...
We took a walk last week to the school and let the kids play for awhile. I got a few pictures of Willow- I can't believe how much she is growing up!!
Pump in Style...
Last week Annikan texed me and said there was a lady on Craigslist giving away a free breast pump. She said to hurry and text her so I did. Long story short and 100 text messages later- we went and picked it up a hour and 15 minutes away Sunday morning. It was a nice 3 hour drive/trip before church, but worth it. These things are $ 250- $ 300 and SOOOOOO much better than a hand pump, let me tell ya! I was extremely grateful and had a bag of crafty things I made for her, when we met. She was really nice, showed me how it worked and showed me the part I needed to pick up at Target. She just wanted to help someone out- it was really sweet! Thank you Annikan for telling me! Thank you Amanda for helping a stranger and thank you Lord for always looking out for me! On the way back home Tristin calls out- "All that, for a breast pump???" I died laughing. Yup, I though. All that for a breast pump! (his face was priceless as I explained what a pump actualy does! Oh, to be a 10 year old boy with a baby on the way. He has no idea!!!)
Taking a little break...
For the next few weeks, we are taking a little break from the kids activities. I'm so greateful they have been involved (they needed it) but boy, driving kids around everywhere can be crazy! We had stuff going every night of the week except Friday nights! Tristin was in guitar lessons for 3 months (THANK YOU UNCLE JESSE!!!). They were all in gymnastics for a month, and they all recently finished swim lessons at the Rec. (Tristin has scouts on Thursday's) And at the end of the month Grace will start T-ball- but then that's it- I'm done. Then, the baby will be here and just keeping my head on straight will be a challenge, I'm sure!
Field day for Tristin...
On Tuesday ,Tristin had field day so the girls and I went over for 40 minutes to watch. He did great & got 5th place. The problem was- it was kind of hot and I got sun burned of course. Seroiusly, my skin is terrible! Here's to my upcoming farmers tan! Can't wait! On Tuesday I also got Grace regestered for Kindergarten! She is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ready. The girl reads like crazy. Kid books, scriptures, church manuals- anything. It's awesome. And weird. And super. She will do great, I know- she'll be like daisy in class, helping all the other kids with stuff!
Getting what I deserve...
So, the dreams have been crazy- still. One night it was mass destruction, end of the world stuff. Another dream Trav was losing his job. There are a few I can't remember- but yesterday's dream tops the chart I think!
In my dream there was this super hot actor with his shirt off. (Don't worry!) His muscles were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! I mean, completley beautiful. Like something sculpted straight from God himself. I was stunned and in love and I told him straight to his face that he had the most amazing muscles on earth. But I kept going. I told him about 100 times how great he looked, how breathtaking the sight was, how beautiful he was and on and on I went.
Well, I must have thought too many "impure thoughts" because the next thing I knew I woke up to the sound of myself yelling at the top of my lungs over and over. I had the worst leg cramp in the world and my left calf was as hard as a rock. All I could do was yell "ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch" like a bazillion times. Tristin dashed in my room and said, "Mom, what is wrong?" Through the pain and tears I said, "My leg. My leg. My leg" (The poor kid thought I was having the baby right there in my room, and honestly, it sounded that bad!)My leg was all contorted and all I could do was yell and wait for the muscle to relax. I minute or two later, it did- but holy cr*p- it was awful! After it was done and I was put back together I laughed at the situation and how God must have been paying me back for all my naughty thoughts about Mr Amazing. So I vowed & promised to the Lord, I would never admire another man with his shirt off again!I guess sometimes we get what we deserve!(The sad part is, my calf kills every time I walk. It's So sore, I made Trav rub it last night!)
A sucsessful Yard Sale!
Well, we survived the yard sale. I'm not sure if we completely over do it every single time- but they honestly kick our butts! They are SOOOOO exhausting! Normally I'm picking up tons of friends stuff, tons of tables from everyone on the planet, setting up their stuff, collecting their money, then cleaning up, delivering their stuff back, with their tables and dropping off money- but this time I didn't. I just didn't have the energy like normal. We did get Lisa's furniture packed in the truck and hauled over- but that was about it this time. We had a lot of fun even though we got hit with a CRAZY wind & rain storm the first day. We did well in the morning- so it wasn't that bad. I made enough to get my next blog book and I'm SUPER excited!!! I love hanging out with my sweet Angie, but honestly, that's my last sale for the year!
