Potty time...

When my kids are around 1, I bring out the potty chair and start sitting them on it. I know it's early, but I have early potty trainers because of it. I don't expect them to actually go at this age or recognize their body cues, but by the time their bodies are ready, they already have the sit-on-the-potty thing down, so the 2 just merge together nicely. Roman actually pulls up his shirt and starts tugging at his pants now when he wants to sit down. We sing songs and clap wildly and then he's done. Good job little man.

Underware...

For the record, I know it isn't right to blog about your son's underware- but I had too! Tristin is actually tiny underneath those clothes and to prove it- I just bought him new boxers for the first time in years. He's been wearing size 6-8 boxer/briefs for YEARS! Since he was 6. I thought it was funny...he will too one day, right?!

Juice...

I borrowed my friends juicer the last time we were VT and we experimented. I had no clue what I was doing so I juiced some pretty terrible blends. I think I may be a smoothie girl!

Going on a walk...

Roman has discovered his car and he loves it! He also loves going for walks in the wagon!

Salsa and more jam...

Last week I finally got around to getting my salsa made! Geesh, sometimes I wonder what takes me so long to get things done around here! I also got another batch of jam made- raspberry, strawberry, peach blend.Yum!

Star of the week- Grace...

Grace just won the student of the week in her class! She was pretty happy with herself! Way to go Grace!

Weapons...

Although not thrilled that they are waepons, I'm actually very impressed with Tristin's wood working skills! He goes out, uses my tools and paint, comes back in awhile later and shows me what deadly impaling weapon he just made. From an artsy side, way to go Bud! From a Mom and an :I-hope-my-son-turns-out-normal side, I'm worried!
