Going for a walk...

Today the girl's and I went on a nature walk & to the park. It was nice to get out in the sunshine for awhile!

My new best friend...

Can I just say how much I love this drill press??? It is wonderful! My brother in law is letting me borrow it and I'm in love! It makes drilling SOOOO much easier! I just had to express some of this excitment! And what is it about power tools that makes me feel so incredible???

Summer break, here we come!

It's really weird that I have 2 kids in school already, and it's even weirder that school gets out- NEXT WEEK! I can't believe that miss Daisy is almost done with kindergarten and Tristin will be in 4th grade!!! I'm starting to feel pretty old- but what does a girl do except embrace it right?
So, here's to Summer break arriving, kids getting older and a Mama that can't stop time from marching on...

Family Fun Night...

Last Thursday was Family fun Night at the kids school and it was bike safety & the 5th grade Science fair! It was a great night and the kids had a lot of fun (until Tristin lost half of his lego guy & Grace was run into by a kid on his bike causing her to trip and slice her elbow- let's just say there were lots of tears towards the end of the night!)
