I ordered my 3rd blog book!

I am so excited- I ordered my 3rd blog book (from shared book.com)the other day and I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival! It is SOOOO worth the money and these books mean the world to me. There is nothing better than my journal, my family's daily events and pictures all in one- plus, who has time to scapbook anymore??? Can't wait to have it here and so glad for the yard sale that made it happen!!

Mother's Day...

After church on Sunday, we went to Edith & max's for dinner and dessert. We ate, layed around and talked- the perfect afternoon! I picked out soap at bath & body works for my present and then Trav surprised me with a Subway gift certificate! Perfect day.

Why I love Albertsons...

I seriously love my Albertsons. I've been shopping there for years and I love the employees there. I've become really good friends with many of them and Trav and I joke that Wayne in the dairy departmnet is now my boyfriend. The other day he said, "Hey I didn't see you last week." (he's always waiting to tell me about the yogurt markdowns!) Every time we go-the girls run to the get their free cookie from Linda, and every time she always comments on how cute they are, I'm stopped by the manager to talk about sales, coupons and my baby bump almost every time we are there, JJ & I hold up lines by talking too much and really annoy the shoppers behind me ( now when we are in the middle of a conversation, I'll stand off to the side so JJ can still ring up other customers, but they still get snotty!) Mark is always in a great mood, Josie has to tickle Willow every time we are there, We love Hillary and share reciepes, Catherine is always talking about my stomach, Angie is always happy to see us, and I'm always talking about yard sales with another worker. I realy love it there. On holidays we take them treats and the girls pass them out to everyone- it's pretty cute. I know about their familes, their kids, grand kids, weekend adventures, marital problems- you name it. Somedays it takes awhile to get out of the store because we are always stopping to talk to the next person on the way out the door. I love it there. I shop there 3-4 times a week, and this is why- the markdowns! (and sales, and employees) I LOVE getting yogurt for super cheap because we go through it like candy. Wayne always points out the items on clearance and I'm happy to get yougurt for .75 to .98 every time. I did get the big 12 pack for $ 1.84. The huge cottage cheese was $ 2.12 and the Oscar Meyer lunch meat was .69 each. I love getting great deals for the family. We love you Albertson's! And we are thrilled that today is the first day of the Sizzlin Summer Giveaway! Hopefully we will get more free donuts, food, toilet paper & cash like last year!

Trying to let it go...

Just when I get to a place where I can accept the baby weight- people have to go and ruin it for me! Seriously, people, don't tell pregnant women that they are HUGE even if they are, it just causes more self pity and ice cream overdoses. And guess what, WE ALRADY KNOW!!! We are the ones carrying the extra weight around every second unable to function like a normal person. Yesterday was one of those days for me. On two seperate occasions, my weight gain or size was the "hot topic". I kept it together and waited to OD on chocolate covered peanut butter filled Easter eggs- but it was not fun. How do you respond to such rude comments anyway? Or how do you stop the urge to slap them in the face or comment them on their lovely muffin top hanging over their jeans? Honestly??? I do it with a smile and a joke but inside I want to say something really mean and waddle away from the rude person. Anyway, just a weight vent over here. So yeah, I already know, and yeah I have 8 more weeks of weight to slap on these thighs, so I guess I have to just accept that annoying people everywhere on the planet want to talk about how HUGE I am. Super Duper.
