Happy 14th Anniversary...

Trav and I celebrated 14 years on May 27th by eating at Red Robin and getting Sonic milkshakes- pretty much the best day ever if you ask me! Thank you Dad for watching the kiddos so we could have a few hours. I love you babe!! I love you and I like you...

Tristin's long board...

Tristin bought a long board with his lawn mowing $ a few weeks ago and he brought it with us when we went over for the twin's b-day awhile ago. I failed to get pictures of the kids, but I managed to get Chelsea's first ride (which she loved!)Way to go lady!

Tristin's 12th B-day

Well, it happened... my little man turned into a giant man in the blink of an eye. Everyone that sees him lately wonders how he grew so fast, aquired a deeper voice, grew massive leg hair, a mustash, and armpit hair, and honestly- I"M WONDERING THE SAME THING!!! How did it happen??? He had a great party with 9 friends from school that showed up, he also had neighbors, family and family friends that came to wish him well. The weather was perfect, we had a BBQ theme, he recieved $ 126.00 in b-day money and enjoyed his party on the last day of school too! Happy Birthday giant, I love you!

Grace's field day

I was able to help at Grace's field day right before school ended, but sadlt not at Daisy's due to the time of day it was. Grace had a super fun day and the little kids had fun walking to the park and having lunch there too. The kids have been out for 2 weeks so far and I'm adjusting to the messes, fighting and large amounts of food consumption- but I'm also trying to enjoy every minute with my babies. It goes too fast and we are having a few fun days doing activities we normally don't do!

Quilting...

Last month I sewed my first 9 block together for the start of our quilt for our Bishop. I had always wanted too- but I knew I would never be any good, so I never started, I stuck to the easy things. Well, something caught fire and I realized I could do it- So I started on a small quilt top at home. I got a book from the library, I've been researching super easy quilt patterns and my desire is to make super awesome, non perfect quilts one day! We will see... at least I tried something I was scared of!

Roman's "Bah-Bah"

When my Dad moved here in October, he brought with him the creepiest skeleton that danced to music. Roman fell in love and deathly afraid of the thing instantly and at the same time. He wanted to watch him dance but he REFUSED to touch him, he was scared of him- but intrigued so G-pa would always push the scary dude's button. Over the months it became their thing- and G-pa grew used to pushing the annoying button a million times when Roman was over. Roman was OBSESSED with the thing. When we had our yard sale, Dad decided it was time the gross guy came to our house and I wasn't very thrilled until I realized how deep Roman's fasination was with it. He was literally nuts over him. It took several weeks- but he will now touch him now and what amazing progress! The scary guy known as "Bah-Bah" wears diapers, goes to sleep in my bed and can wear out batteries in no time. Roman asks for him a million times a day and although I would love to chuck him in the garbage- I can't, simply because of the weird joy he brings my child.

Welcome baby Carma...

I was sooo glad when baby Carma finally emerged from Jana's tummy- there is something agonizing even watching a pregnancy from the sidelines- you just want the baby out!!! Finally- she was born, and FINALLY I got to hold the little monkey! And then I would invite myself over at late hours to hold her again, and then be secretely jealous when others were holding her- and then stop by to drop off candy bars and find her not home. I thought if I came bringing gifts, I could hold her again while Jana ate whatever I brought. I have to stop myself at Yard sales because I find clothes and I have to say" Hello.... she's not your baby- stop pretending she is..." Congrats sweet friend!

Ryan's Party...

Last month my friend had her husband's graduation party and she called me back in March to help her put it together! For the next several weeks, we had fun brainstorming, getting together, making lists, shopping, mass producing orange and blue items to go along with the party and then getting ready for the big event. It turned out great and I think Tasha is finally resting now- it was a lot of work!
