Mr Roman...

Someone is growing up way to fast! He's turning into a little man and my heart can't take it!

Free pictures!

My friend, and PTA president texed me the other night to ask if I wanted to volunteer at the school on picture day. In return all those who helped would get free pictures for their kiddos! With 3 at the same place, I always cringe when pictures roll around because it's x3 the price! It was great because not only did we get free class pictures- they threw in a package dealon top of it! I was willing to stay for 3 1/2 hours to save aprox $ 80.00! (And I was able to opt Grace out of wearing the Kindergarten graduation cap! I was pleased to see they at least used new coffee filters inside the cap each time to cut down on the head lice situation- but it wasn't enough coverage for me and I said: Noooooo thank you! It was pretty fun!

The important stuff...

I think most of the time I focus on the frilly stuff and don't pay attention to what really matters. This was great to find on the floor yesterday!

Easter...

Ea I feel like Easter kind of snuck up on me this year. Normally I'm color coding outfits or matching in some kind of way, but not this year, just trying to get out the door for church was hard enough! Infact when I bent down to throw my boots on before flying out the door, I thankfully realized my dress was completely turned inside out and on wrong! Thank you Jesus for catching that one! I did most of the normal things this year like: putting decorations up, talking about the Ressurection, making our bunny cake with the kids & friends, having our Easter lesson at G-ma's, finding Easter baskets and having our egg hunt and going to church- but I feel bad we didn't dye eggs until the day after and I was too tired to take them to a real egg hunt. Oh well I guess, sometimes I've got it in me, and sometimes I don't! It was a beautiful day though and we focused on what Easter was really about anyway. We had a wonderful dinner at G-ma & G-pa's house and brought Sister Green with us for the action. It was a nice day to reflect on our Savior and I am thankful for my testimony of the gospel.

Bowling with Angie...

After making our cakes we went and bowled a game with Angie and her family. It was a blast. There were 14 kids and 7 adults off and on in our 3 lanes! it was great!

My Cutie Pies...

Bunny Cakes with Angie...

Angie and I got together again this year to make our famous bunny cakes! The kids had fun and that's what it's about! Love you Ang!

A pretty boring Spring Break...

The past month has been a little uneventful for my kids, and Spring Break was no different. We did make it to the park though- Yeah Mom, good job!

Living like a Queen!

If anything else falls apart over here, breaks down, begins smoking or begins gushing water everywhere, I think I might bury myself in a hole and never return! The past few months have been CRAZY over here! With all these new appliances, I feel like a Queen living in a magical palace! (I wish! If only spending $ on these dumb things brought me happiness, I'd be dancing on the tables by now!)we have had to replace our furnace which had a crack in it, replace a wall because of mold in the panrty due to our hot water heater, then clean up a flood a few weeks later from the stupid water heater and then replace the darn thing! Our dish washer started acing up last year and then finally we could not start it anymore. We bought one from a couple at church and were happy to not have to wash dishes by hand anymore! Don't get me started on the dryer, which Trav and another guy from church tried to fix and then out of pure desire, I figured I'd get a new fridge too! (After taking ours out and seeing all the rust on the main parts, I'm glad we did it- who knows how much time that old thing had left in it!) Anyway- ask me how thrilled I am to have spent our beautiful tax money on such needed but expensive items! Geesh! Little recap: Furnace, Hot water heater, dish washer, dryer, washer, fridge, That only leaves a few things left to break down around here! Several months ago my washer started smoking, so that was replaced, I'm sure our air conditioner is next- but I think we might be good for a little while, what do you think?! And yes I realize I sound like a spoiled brat, I am truely grateful for how comfortable my life is and how blessed I am, it just becomes difficult being patient while trying to take care of these wild monkeys!*** Jana- I'm using the cute tins you gave me in my fridge! Thank you!!
