The parade...

Melba Parade...

We took the kids to the Melba Parade today and had a great time! They collected tons of candy (and a T shirt) and loved watching all the people, cars and horses pass by. We had to come home for lunch, naps and some shade!

4th of July Breakfast...

Every year we have a 4th of July breakfast at the church. It's nice to reflect for a few minutes on the real meaning and the Scouts always help with the flag ceramony. that's Tristin behind the flag, I thought it looked pretty cool!

Settler's park..

Trav & I took the kids to the park yesterday and they had a great time! It's such an awesome place. We had a picnic, played and then had ice cream cones. It was a hot, but really fun day!

Losing my mind...

Am I the only Mom on the planet that cannot remember who's toothbrush belongs to what child? I really think I'm 31 going on 91 these days with my forgetful brain!
I had to laugh at myself- but at least now I can keep it straight!

The girls cleaning the window...

I've been trying to get the kids more involved in cleaning, so Grace & Willoe were working on the windows the other day. How cute!

A few days ago Tristin was making some dessert, He just looked all grown up!

The crazyness begins...

What is it about the loss of front teeth that changes a kid completely? Miss Daisy has lost bottom teeth, but this was her first top tooth. It's so funny to hear her little lisp now! Hurry up and grow tooth!

Last week yard sale treasures...

I picked up a few things this weekend while I was out yard saling- but these were found last weekend. Yes, I adore old things. (except if it came from the 70's. I don't think anything cute came out of that decade!)I don't know where it comes from, but if it's old, little, and super cute- then I'm doomed to want it!
I found this old TV and knew it had to come homw with me. It was $ 1.00 and now sits on my mantle. I found this orange squeezer too and the kids LOVE it- it was .25!

Science Project...

(I ADORE her soup lid albums and banners! I save all my soup lids for crafts projects, so happy I get to use them now!)And her cool paper quilt window is inspiring too- lots of idea's!)
She had a super easy and super fun science project!
All you need is:
*a deep plate/pan/bowl
*milk
*food coloring
*dish soap
*Q- tips

Pour the milk, add drops of food coloring, dip Q-tip in dish soap & watch!
My kids LOVED it! And yes, now Willow's hands are completely stained green from food coloring she got a hold of!
