4th of July!!!

The 4th of July was kind of mellow around here this year. We went to our ward breakfast, watched Tristin advance to Tenderfoot in Scouts, came home and relaxed (which really means everyone else relaxed while I cleaned, packed and did laundry!) and then we went to Angie's neighborhood firework show. When Ang told me her neighbor put on the best show ever, I thought- cool, let's go! But holy cow- they were the most amazing thing I have EVER seen! I don't know how they were even legal- but it was AMAZING!!! It was the best night. We enjoyed it way more than the God and country show even. I know where we will be going each year now! Thanks for the invite Ang- and I simply adore you!

God & Country Fireworks!

This year Annikan, Rosie, Lara & my family did not meet for our annual firework show- so we met up with Angie and her family & friends Wed night to watch the show instead. We had a great time and it was fun to watch the kiddos run around and play!

Cousin time!!!

I can't remember the last time I saw my cousin Rachel! ( I only have 5 cousins total!) It has been a long time! She and her family came out from Missuri and stayed a night on their way to Seattle to stay with the rest of the family! It was so great to see Paul again and meet the kids- Abby, Bryce, Kyle and Jaxson. We had so much fun talking, the kids played, we had a BBQ, we got to see their awesome camper, the girls played in the sprinklers, the boys played on the computer & watched silly shows, the kids had a slumber party, we ate chocolate waffles in the morning and then they were off on their long trip to G-ma's house! It was so great to see everyone!!! We love you guys!!

Elder's Quorm Sock hop...

I was tired the night of the guys activity, so these are the only pictures I got! I didn't even get pictures of Grace, Emily K, Paulina, & Tami who dressed up in their cute 50's attire! It was a fun night!

G-pa and Aunt Helene come for a visit!!!

Last week we were so happy to have G-pa and Aunt Helene come for a visit! They stayed 2 nights and we had so much fun! We played, went on motorcycle rides, ate ice cream, played with the dog, went swimming, found treasures at the dollar store, played Yahtzee, ate pizza, found a yard sale, went to the Harley store, watched Aunt Helene go geo caching, played in the yard, ate hamburgers and talked. It was a great few days and they were kind enough to bring me a few things from Virginia ( my step G-ma!) Thanks for coming guys!! We had a great time!!! Love you!!

They wish he was a girl...

At random times throughout the day I will find poor little Roman dressed up in night gowns, his fingernails painted bright red or head bands lovingly placed on his head of curls! Oh, those silly girls!
