Another night at Andrea's...

We went over to Todd & Andrea's Monday night for dinner and some Yahtzee action! Too bad G-ma won both games!

4th of July breakfast...

This morning we had our church 4th of July celebration breakfast. Tristin was involved in the flag ceramony now that he's in Scouts, so I had to get a few pictures of him. It was a great morning & breakfast!

4th of July...

Last night we went to Todd & Andrea's for the 4th and had a lot of fun! We had a yummy BBQ and stayed to let the men light off their explosives. The kids had a blast and it was wonderful to sit and relax with my sweet Andrea for awhile.

Family get-together...

We were so happy that G-ma & G-pa, Aunt Cammy, Uncle Ben, Aunt Ellen and most of the cousins could come over to celebrate Tristin's baptism. We had a big BBQ afterwards and it was fun to sit and relax for awhile. The kids played in the pool, jumped on the tramp, roasted Smores, while the babies tried to climb in the pool at least 100 times. It was fun to visit and enjoy the sunshine. Thanks eveyone for celebrating with us!

A very special day for Tristin...

Today was a very special day for all of us, but mostly for Tristin because he was baptized! We went to the book store and bought him his very own set of scriptures and he was pretty excited to have his own. My heart was so full today as I watched him go into the water and promise to be like Jesus. and I am so proud of him for always trying to choose the right and set an example for others. My little man is growing up and one day he will make a terrific missionary. As we were getting ready for bed and reading scriptures, we were talking about goal setting and how its great to read a little each day- I told him because he's 8, maybe his goal could be to read 8 verses. he said, "But, Mom, I want to learn more..." I smiled and said, "Well read as much as you want, and if you do, Heavenly Father will bless you for it." We said prayers, hugged and kissed goodnight and as I was shutting the door, I turned around and just stood there watching him reading his scriptures. Tears filled my eyes and I thought: he will be a wonderful missionary one day. I love Tristin with all my heart and I couldn't be a happier Mama.

Peek-a-boo...

Willow loves to play peek-a-boo now and it's super cute! Just ignore me...

A little black eye...

Q: What do you get when you cross a mad sister with a Hannah Montana pad lock?

A: A black eye.

Yeah, Grace threw a metal pad lock at Daisy's face and gave her a little black eye. I guess she was upset that she had to clean up her room! Poor Daisy.

They were all asleep within seconds...

The fireworks didn't start until a little after 10:30 PM, and bedtime at our house is 8:00, so the kids were pretty tired by 11:30!

Fire works...

Wednesday night we met our friends: Annikan, Rosie & Lara & their families and watched fireworks. It was pretty late, but we all had a great time. The kids loved the fireworks and it was nice to just sit back and relax for awhile!
