Almost 14 weeks!

My Dr, app. today went great and that little heartbeat was thumping away like crazy! It was nice to go in and be reminded that all the vomit and laying around has been worth it!

The best friends ever...

All of you who know me- know that I never slow down, I never stop and NEVER let people help me.So I always laugh and say that early pregnancy is God's way of trying to get me to learn how to master these things. Well, this past month, has been horrible. I've been up or out of my house for 4 days combined and I have watched more TV in the past 8 weeks than I have in my entire life! My sweet husband magically turned into my "man servant" bringing me anything that didn't sound revolting, and my wonderful friends have been incredibly sweet taking care of me. I can't even count how many times Angie has picked up/dropped off Daisy to play with her little girl,Tammy brought over some medicine to help with the vomiting, but sadly, it didn't do the trick, Lisa has been picking up Tristin in the mornings and has been dropping him off at school for me, Michelle brought over homemade cookies & bread the other night,Chelsea read my mind and brought me pumpkin/chocolate cookie/muffins last week, Annikan brought me popsicles that I was craving (probably due to being dehydrated) and Shane & Chelsea came over yesterday and cleaned the house for hours! I just wanted to say thank you SOOOO much for helping,you have no idea how much I have appriciated it. I love you all and thanks for listening to me whine & complain. You are the best friends a girl could have!!

Yes, it's official, I'm pregnant!

I had my first Dr. appointment 2 weeks ago to see how the baby was doing. I was scared out of my mind that I would lose this baby too and couldn't wait any longer to check. My Dr. was so sweet, the second she saw the baby, she was clapping, hitting my legs in excitment and so happy for me. I just laid there wiping the tears away, so thankful that this little one "looked perfect", I could finally be happy. I could finally allow myself to feel joy- I had just been too scared and so nervous to even hope for this baby, but now, I feel better and just pray everything continues to go well.
I wasn't going to post anything until the first trimester was over, just in case something happened, but then I thought about everyone who reads my blog, pretty much already knows that I'm pregnant anyway, so I figured this would be a great way to say I'm sorry for all the unreturned phone calls, the 6 weeks of church I've already missed and my lack of everything right now- just bare with me. I'm 10 weeks and secretly hoping for another girl. I must admit, I would like Tristin to have a brother though, so we'll see!
The moments I'm not up taking care of the kids, cooking, cleaning,running VERY few errands and working 2 days a week, I'm literally in bed every other second or hanging over the toilet. I've been miserable, but I'm so thankful, so I'm trying not to complain too much. We are blessed to be able to get pregnant, we are blessed to have 3 children, and hopefully, # 4 will get here safely! I go back to the Dr. in a few weeks, so I'll post any changes (except for the growing chest and expanding thighs! Those details I'll keep private!)

Playing dress up...

The girls looked so cute playing dress up awhile ago, I had to get a picture. They were thrilled that Addie was coming to play this morning while Tammy went to the Dr. to find out what she was having (a BOY!) They have had so much fun!

A few hours later...

Any one who knows me, knows that my computer skills are VERY limited, so you can imagine how I've been envying everyone's super cute blog backgrounds for the past year 1/2! Well, yesterday I sat down for a few hours and figured it out all by myself! So, although not perfect, at least we can stare at something new together!

Uncle Caleb comes for a visit!!

I called my brother Caleb last Wednesday, just to say Hi and see how he was doing. As we were talking he said he wanted to come out for a visit, so I told him anytime! Well, I picked him up the next day at the airport and he stayed with us for 3 nights! We had a great time eating out, shopping a little, playing at Chuck E Cheese, relaxing & playing with the kids. Sadly, this is the only picture I have (I know, I'm horrible, but I left my camera at chuck E cheese, darn it!) Thank you Uncle Caleb for flying out, we love you so much and we had a great time!

The toothfairy came last night...

Yes, I can offically add "toothfairy" to my long list of motherly duties. Yesterday morning, Tristin woke up and said, "Mom, my tooth is loose!!" I looked and sure enough, that tiny thing was wiggling a little bit.
By the time I picked him up from school, we both knew it was just a few hours before that thing fell out, and I realized I better have some cash on me for the big "toothfairy arrival". The entire ride home from school, he kept asking all these questions about the fairy: What does she look like? Does she really have wings? How will she get in the house? etc.. and so, like any faboulous mother does, I lied straight to his face and told him just how beautiful she was, how incredible her wings were, and that she would come through the chimney (because it was too cold to leave his window open)
So, after the blessed tooth fell out, we prepared it for "the magic fairy" to come, he hopped in bed, we said prayers, snuggled and then as I was leaving he said, "Mom, leave my door open a little so she can fly in my room." Smiling, I said, "Okay Bud."
I was so exausted when I crawled into bed, but I kept praying to God that I wouldn't forget to put his money under his pillow or fall asleep first! I was able to wait 30 minutes and then placed $ 2.00 where his tooth used to be.
He was thrilled when he woke up and I was equally happy that I was able to stay awake long enough to fit into my fairy costume!

Daisy's 4th Birthday Party...

Here is our birthday girl celebrating her 4th birthday. I have no idea how she grew up so fast, but she did. I love my girl!
There were 20 kids, mostly dressed in princess dresses, it was adorable!

I kept it simple, cupcakes, ice cream & popcorn. G-ma brought a cracker & veggi tray too! We had streamers, balloons and party horns, the kids made princess bookmarks & took a treat bag home.

Daisy's first Ballet class...

We signed Daisy up for Ballet last month and tonight was her first class! Oh my, did she love it! She was a great listener, followed directions and looked like a little princess twirling around out there. This girl can melt my heart in 2 seconds, and tonight I was wiping away the tears a few times as I watched her cute little body try so hard to be the best ballerina ever- it was one of the cutiest things I've ever seen! I love my Daisy girl...
