A wonderful baby shower!
I have the best friends on the planet. I love them with all my heart and I am beyond grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing women. Everyone pitched in to throw me a baby shower yesterday. Annikan hosted it at her house, did decorations and food, Angie made invites and mailed them out and brought food, Andrea offered to have it at her house in the beginning (but most of us were on the other side of town- so Annikan's house won!)and she brought the most amazing strawberry dessert ever. Rosie blessed us with her amazing burritos, and Lara brought decorations & the greatest dessert known to man. Christy provided the entire Target store for our viewing plessure and lots of other friends came to support the event. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! It was wonderful and I was beyond spoiled. This little man collected the cutiest outfits, jammies, gift cards, necessities, diapers, art for his room, toys, a few blankets from G-ma Edith and lots of love. It was a great morning and although I know everyone wanted to be somewhere else, thanks for choosing to spend it with me and at my last baby shower! It really meant a lot, you guys are the greatest friends I could ever hope for! ( there were a few more pictures with friends that I could not post due to the grossness of my double chins and fat arms- to you- forgive me for not making it on the blog. The pictures I posted were awful enough and I am beyond embarrassed to be showing the 500 extra pounds already stuck on my body- but one day I'll want to look back, right?)
Happy Father's Day!!!
What I love about my Dad is that he comes out every year to visit us. We look forward to his trips and we always have so much fun when he is here. I love that Dad and I have built a stronger relationship over the years and we are able to have thoses moments now that I always wished for growing up. When I watch him play with my kids, something inside my heart swells a million times. I am often in tears without him even knowing it because they are making wonderful memories with him, and I stand back to watch it all unfold. It means the world to me when me carves out time to be with us because I understand the short trip is a sacrafice for him in many ways. I am so grateful for his presence in our lives. I am grateful for his sence of humor, his vision and determination. He is one of the hardest workers I know and when he touches something- it turns into a work of art. I love his passion for mystery, treasure hunting and maple bar donuts. I love watching funny movies with him or eating pizza when he comes to visit. I love looking at older pictures of us, or talking about our trip to Hawaii when everyone thought we were a couple. I love our talks on the phone or when the kids start to talk about him out of the blue. I love to see Tristin's love for coin collecting grow because of my Dad. We love his bags of metal detecting treasures he brings when he come to visit and I love that he loves my babies and takes the time to be a Dad and Grandpa. And his motorcycle is pretty awesome too! (just no more rides while in my last trimester!) I love you Papa and hope you have a wonderful day (and forgive me for not getting your package to you on time. I'll mail it out tomorrow!)
Happpy Father's Day!

Discovery Center...
Yesterday after Willow & I both had naps, we took the kids to the Discovery Center. They earned Free coupons through the Summer reading program through the library, so we hopped in the car and went for a few hours. My time consisted of sitting on every bench or stool I could find while pushing this adorable child out of my ribs for hours. The kids had a blast like always and I was tempted to just find a place to lay down and stretch for awhile.
