After an Easter dinner at Mom's all you can do for a few hours afterwards, is sit back and relax. The food is amazing (thank you G-ma and Mom!) but you stuff yourself because you just can't stop. Here's my G-pa, who I adore, sitting with Grace. I love everything about him, especially his smile.
I am a 34 year old flower child at heart. I owned my own cleaning business for 10 years and am happily obsessed with Windex, hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes. I am in love with my husband Travis & my 5 beautiful children. (Tristin, Roman, Daisy, Grace & Willow), motorcycle rides, chocolate, fabric, my yellow VW bug, the ocean, writing, art, yard sales, Pinterest, thrift stores, Yahtzee games, good deals, Advil, vacuums,The Office, back rubs & trips to Target make me happy.

G-pa & Gracie just hanging out...
Uncle Jacob, April & the kids
Here's a cute shot of my brother and his girlfriend April. It was my first time meeting April (although Mom & G-ma filled me in for months on their "love life") and she was a doll, very sweet and just perfect for my brother.
We love Skip & Sandy

Skip & Sandy are part of the family. They've been friends with Mom & Brent for a billion years now and I love seeing them every time I come home. Sandy is one of the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet and Skip is one of the nicest guys I know. Love you guys!
Uncle Jesse & Aunt Sara
Here's my silly brother, Jesse, givin' a little love to Sara (his girlfriend of 9 years?)I love these two because they are madly in love with each other. Every time Jess talks about her, you can hear the love just seeping out of him, it's beautiful.
Uncle Caleb tickiling the kids
Too bad you can't see his cute face, but Uncle caleb is hiding behind his hat. He will be a wonderful Daddy one day. He adores the kids. It was great to hang out with him. (Caleb, I still want your polka dot sweatshirt!)
Uncle Jacob hates pictures, but look how cute he is!
Tristin loves his Uncle's. Here he is with Uncle jacob right after the Easter egg hunt. We just wish we had more time with everyone.
Grandma April reading The Tale of Peter Rabbit
The kids had never heard these stories (my Mom loves them and has been collecting them for years) so they loved it every night we were there because G-ma would read another story from her collection. They love their bed time stories.

On the ferry going to Audra's house...
The kids had a BLAST on the ferry. They thought it was SOOOO awesome. We are leaving Seattle going to stay the night at Chris & Audra's new house.
So tired of driving...
Here's a shot of Gracie's "little melt down" They all had their moments, but were pretty great considering what they went through. Heck, I even wanted to shed a few tears at one point.
Tristin and his sand bucket...

Tristin had so much fun digging in the sand. He'd stop the second his feet touched the sand and start digging.
Here we are in Cannon Beach

We went to Cannon Beach for a few hours on Saturday. It was fun to go shopping, eat and watch the guys make taffy!
Grace blowing spit bubbles...
Grace was either cracking us up with her funny faces or driving us insain with her screaming on our way back home. The kids did really well for almost 1300 miles in the car!
Fun in the sand...

Tristin looks like a little man in this picture, all grown up. It's hard to believe he'll be 6 next month.
Daisy & Tristin...

The kids had a lot of fun when we stopped to see the tree. Daisy was about to fall asleep standing up, but she made it
The "big tree"...

I've been coming to this tree for 15 years and it still amazes me every time I see it. It's massive, the kids loved it!
Gracie chasing/barking at the birds...
Grace enjoys barking at any living thing she sees, so the seagulls were no exception. She was after these guys barking like crazy!
Our last night at the ocean

We had a great time at the ocean except for the weather, it was FREEZING with snow, hail and rain almost non-stop. This is our last night and we were lucky to have a break in the weather so we could get down to the beach one last time.
We made it to the ocean!!
We had a WONDERFUL Spring Break this year. We finally took a family trip and went home to Seattle and to the coast for 8 days. It was great to be home and see family/friends and it was wonderful to get to the coast afterwards. Here we are in Seaside Oregon. ( I missed you Jaime!)
